The Grahamstown Horse Riding Club hosted its annual Summer Show this past weekend, bringing together riders, horses and members of the community for a vibrant and successful event.
Our Community Outreach Portfolio boys volunteered their time and energy throughout the weekend, playing an important role in the smooth running of the show. Their responsibilities included managing the kiosk, preparing burgers and rolls, assisting with scoring, building courses and providing much-needed physical support wherever it was required.
For many of the boys, working in a horse-riding environment was a first-time experience. They embraced the opportunity with enthusiasm, thoroughly enjoying the weekend while gaining valuable new skills and hands-on experience.
Their willingness to serve and positive attitude made a meaningful contribution to the success of the event.
