Grade 11 – Computer Application Technology

Theory
The theory content is based on the textbook Via Africa Computer Applications Technology. Assignments for each section will be posted on Google Classroom, where answers can be uploaded. Alternatively, you can email your answers, send a photo via WhatsApp, or keep them and bring them to class on our first day back.

Special Activities:

  • World Wide Web (Pages 70–72): Create a word search using definitions as clues and include at least 20 terms. Provide the list of clues, the word search, and a solution key. Complete Activity 1.
  • Internet, WWW, and Communication (Pages 74–80): Create a crossword puzzle with an empty grid, clues, and a completed solution. Complete Activity 2.
  • Managing Email (Pages 82–86): Complete Activity 3.
  • Social Issues (Pages 87–89): Write a list of terms and their definitions.
  • Questions: Answer the questions on Page 80.

Practical
If you have access to a computer, follow along with the videos and complete the associated activities and tasks. If not, watch the videos and take notes, as they will serve as your study material. We will complete the videos and activities together once we return to the lab.

    • Read Mode: Displays like a book; exit via View > Edit
