Junior School

Graeme College follows the syllabi of the Eastern Cape Education Department. The subject selection has been chosen to accommodate a wide variety of options.We endeavour to enrich these syllabi to the benefit of our pupils.

Intermediate Phase

Sport

A wide variety of sporting activities is offered at the school and the boys are encouraged to be involved in as many as possible. Sports offered at present include: Athletics, Cricket, Cross-Country, Hockey, Rugby, Tennis, Squash, Swimming, Water-Polo

Camps

Graeme College is proud to offer an exciting line up of camps throughout the year, creating unforgettable experiences and lasting memories for our boys. The year kicks off with the much-anticipated Junior Academic Camp at Beggars Bush, a true highlight on the calendar. This is followed by the ever-popular Junior School Camp-Out, where fathers and sons bond under the stars on the Junor Field. Our annual Grade 5 and Grade 7 camps are firm favourites, eagerly awaited by the boys and packed with fun, adventure, and camaraderie.

Community Outreach

Graeme College involves the pupils in many community outreach programs. They are encouraged to take part in the Presidents Awards, Interact and First Aid. These programs are designed to equip the pupils with essential skills and instill in them an understanding of the social problems we face as a community and a country.
