THE VISION

A bespoke space for cultural enrichment

Graeme College is establishing the Eusebius McKaiser Arts Centre, a vibrant hub dedicated to fostering creativity, critical thinking and cultural enrichment.

Named in honour of a remarkable Old Graemian, the Centre will embody Eusebius’s challenging intellect, indomitable spirit and unwavering commitment to positive social change. It will give future generations room to explore their passions, hone their skills and contribute meaningfully to society.

Eusebius attended Graeme College from 1992 to 1996 and served as Deputy Head Prefect in his matric year. An outstanding scholar, debater, chess player and writer, he went on to earn BA, Honours and Master’s degrees at Rhodes University before receiving a Rhodes Scholarship to Oxford.

His career as a broadcaster, author, political analyst and international debate coach was defined by intellectual courage, incisive argument and a deep commitment to justice.
