FOUR GRAEMIANS SELECTED INTO SA u18 RUGBY SQUADS!

We cannot possibly explain (again), the pride within a small school like Graeme College over the last few days.

To see FOUR (!!!!) of our players being selected into the SA u18 rugby squads is simply just unbelievable. Imagine the profound joy of those young men, their families and their community. Not to mention their teachers and their respective coaches along their journey. They have represented their school with absolute excellence during the season and now done the same for Eastern Province as well. We are a humble school, but we are bursting with pride and excitement. We respect all but fear none. If you dont know who Graeme College is and what it is that we stand for, you must be living under a rock on the far side of the moon!

Congratulations to Erin Nelson and Luke Doyle who have been selected for the SA Schools u18 team. Both players have had a good season for the Graeme 1st XV and they backed up these performances at the u18 Craven Week. Akho Tonjeni must also be congratulated on being selected for the SA u18A side after good performances for both his school and province at the Craven Week. Interestingly Akho joined GC in grade 1 and Luke and Erin joined GC in grade 4, these players have come through the schools development pathways to reach these very impressive heights.

Recently, Lucritia Magau (been at Graeme since Grade 8, has now also been called up to the SA u18 training camp this week. This has come off the back of a phenomenal season for Graeme College and Eastern Province.

We could not possibly be more proud of these four young men. And also proud of the culture within our school that has enabled these boys to reach their potential and their dreams.
