During the September school holidays, from 2–4 October, Leo Murray (Grade 9) had the privilege of representing the Eastern Cape Aloes Under-15 Tennis Team at a tournament held in Cradock.

The tournament brought together talented young players from across the region, with teams representing the Northern Cape, Eden (including the George, Tsitsikamma and Plettenberg Bay areas), and the Eastern Cape Elephants.

Leo competed in singles, doubles and mixed doubles, showing determination and sportsmanship throughout the tournament.

After a highly competitive weekend of tennis, the Eastern Cape Aloes team achieved an excellent second-place overall finish. It was a fantastic weekend of competitive tennis, with players gaining valuable experience, enjoying the sport and forming new friendships along the way.
