Period poverty isn’t always an easy subject to talk about, especially among boys, but these learners from Graeme College have shown that looking out for your community has nothing to do with whether something directly affects you.

They got involved, raised money, and helped make sure girls at Mary Waters High School have access to something every learner should be able to count on.

That’s the sort of attitude we hope more young people carry with them. Not waiting for someone else to step up, but being willing to help when they can.
