The Fisherman and the Magical Fish | A Foundation Phase Production

What a show! Our Foundation Phase boys took to the stage this year with The Fisherman and the Magical Fish, delivering a truly stunning production filled with charm, imagination and so much heart.

From the beautiful, natural performances to the wonderful storytelling, it was an absolute joy to watch. But perhaps the best part of all was seeing how much FUN the boys had! Their enthusiasm, confidence and sheer delight on stage were infectious, and they reminded us that sometimes the greatest magic lies in simply letting children shine.

A production like this takes an enormous amount of time, dedication and teamwork, and there are so many people to thank. To our incredible teachers, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to bring this story to life, thank you for your commitment, creativity and care. A very special thank you goes to Mrs Dewing, whose hard work and dedication helped make this production so memorable.

To our wonderful parents, thank you for getting involved, helping with costumes and make-up, and supporting the boys every step of the way. Your contribution made a real difference.

The result was a beautiful, natural production that celebrated the magic of childhood, the joy of performing and the confidence that grows when children are given the opportunity to discover what they can do.

One thing is certain: Graeme College has talent! And if this production is anything to go by, our future stars have only just begun.

Well done to everyone involved. You made us incredibly proud!
