DOUBLE GOLD awarded for the Steelpan ensemble!

Day 1 of the SAC/DSG Music Festival took place on Tuesday 19 May and featured many of our solo steelpan and marimba music students. The boys produced some beautiful performances and received the following awards: Cairis Appollis – Double Gold Thurston Marthinus – Double Gold Leroy Adriaan – Gold Likuhle Bashe – Gold Mbulelo Gama – Gold Bukho Gxekwa – Gold Ibenam Butana – Silver Lindikhaya Kosi – Silver Duanne Oosthuizen – Silver Achuma Xayimpi – Bronze

On Tuesday evening the steelpan ensemble produced a controlled and expressive performance. They were awarded a Double Gold certificate and were invited to perform at the gala concert on Thursday 21 May. Congratulations to all the participants on the outstanding results.
