Entrepreneurship Day 2026
On Wednesday, 26 August, our Grade 7 learners proudly showcased their entrepreneurial talents during our annual Entrepreneurship Day, an exciting highlight of their EMS project on the creation of a Business Plan.
Somerset Field was brought to life with vibrant stalls, colourful signage and an enthusiastic atmosphere as learners put their planning, teamwork and business skills into practice.
From delicious treats such as muffins, jam tarts, brownies, sweet kebabs, waffles, cooldrinks and crisps, to freshly prepared boerewors rolls, hamburgers and chicken strips, there was an impressive variety of products on offer. Learners worked hard to design their stalls, set prices and engage with customers, with their confidence shining through in every interaction.
It was inspiring to see our learners demonstrate creativity, problem-solving, communication and financial decision-making while managing their businesses with enthusiasm and responsibility. Their hard work in the weeks leading up to the event certainly paid off!
A sincere thank you to our school community for supporting this valuable learning experience. We are incredibly proud of our Grade 7 entrepreneurs and the initiative, collaboration and skills they demonstrated throughout the day.
Well done to all our Grade 7 learners!
