GOLD, GOLD, GOLD!! 🏆 We couldn’t be prouder!!!

On Thursday, 14 May, the Grade 12 steelpan students traveled to East London (KuGompo City), where they participated in the Port Rex Lions Eisteddfod. The boys performed with confidence and received the following awards:

Leroy Adriaan – Gold (80%–89%) Athenkosi Manyati – Gold (80%–89%) Thurston Marthinus – Gold (80%–89%) Cairis Appollis – Special Mention / Double Gold (90%–100%)

A steelpan quartet also performed in the Percussion Ensemble category and were awarded a Gold certificate. Well done to all the boys on this exceptional achievement. The hard work and many hours of practice have truly paid off.
