Old Graemian Lesley van der Merwe (OG ’96) bumped into Mrs Dee Simpson, the wonderful lady after whom our Graemian Centre is named, at a market in Sedgefield this morning.

They had a long chat and reminisced about how Mrs Simpson planted all those trees along the Graeme fence, as well as sharing memories of the old staff, namely Maggie, Shorty and Elmo.

Mr and Mrs van der Merve, as well as other supportive parents, are in Knysna for our junior cricket matches.

It’s moments like these that remind us of the special connections, memories and friendships that make the Graemian community so unique.

How wonderful that these connections continue to happen, wherever our Graemians may be!
