Over the holidays, two young Graemian scientists were selected to present their projects at the annual Eskom Expo International Science Fair. Danny Czeredrecki-Schmidt and Jedd Youthed were chosen as part of a group of 316 young South African scientists to travel to Gauteng for a week of learning, exploring exciting research, interacting with other young scientists from around the country and different parts of the world. The week culminated in judging of the months long hard work that was put into their research projects. Jedd impressed judges with his work on plant recognition software applications and received a silver medal at the ISF. This was an amazing opportunity to broaden their scientific horizons, surrounded by other young scientists and represent their school with pride. Congratulations Danny and Jedd!
